The CycloLog® software functions as the main interpretation engine based on climatic-forcing of stratigraphic cyclicity principles, while the LogBust™ software serves as a validation tool, to authenticate the accuracy and consistency of the well correlation and stratigraphic analysis by quantifying correlation anomalies and growth pattern.

Using advanced well correlation techniques that adopts the principles of climate stratigraphy, CycloLog®'s spectral analysis function leads to a synchronous correlation based on a standard log data. CycloLog® also allows characterization of distinct parts of wireline log data in an objective, quantitative and repeatable manner.

Mohd Khalid Embong graduated with BSc in Petroleum Engineering from the Imperial College, London. Khalid is an Executive Director of Uzma Group and heads the Geoscience and Reservoir Engineering division.
