It ensures faster results through seamless integration of advanced correlation techniques and interpretation validation procedures.

The CycloLog® software functions as the main interpretation engine based on climatic-forcing of stratigraphic cyclicity principles, while the LogBust™ software serves as a validation tool, to authenticate the accuracy and consistency of the well correlation and stratigraphic analysis by quantifying correlation anomalies and growth pattern.

Ridzuan Tahir graduated from University of Malaya with a BSc (Hons) in Applied Geology. He has worked in the US, Spain and Malaysia and brings to Uzma, sequence stratigraphy expertise with an emphasis on siliclastic sedimentology. He is currently Uzma’s Chief Geologist and has a total of 15 years experience in various stages of subsurface evaluation and operations.

uzmADSTRAT™ ensures faster and accurate results through seamless integration of the advanced correlation concepts and techniques, and the systematic interpretation validation procedures.

Using advanced well correlation techniques that adopts the principles of climate stratigraphy, CycloLog®'s spectral analysis function leads to a synchronous correlation based on a standard log data. CycloLog® also allows characterization of distinct parts of wireline log data in an objective, quantitative and repeatable manner.

The integrity of the correlation is verified through several validation methods including Multiple Biscke Plot Analysis and Δd/d method using LogBust™, well-connecting seismic sections as well as sedimentological analogues.

The process assures a consistent correlation and validation process that is applicable for regional to reservoir scale studies.

If required and where core biostratigraphic data and good quality seismic data are available, the scope of the study can be extended to include detailed core description, biostratigraphic interpretation and/or seismic stratigraphy, which will be integrated with uzmADSTRAT™
